2 large eggs
2 cups whole wheat flour
1 ¾ cups milk
½ cup vegetable oil
1 Tbsp brown sugar
4 tsp baking powder
¼ tsp salt
1. Heat waffle iron
2. Beat eggs in large bowl until fluffy. Beat in remaining ingredients just until smooth.
3. Pour batter onto center of waffle iron and close lid (since all waffle irons are not the same size, it’s hard to say how much yours will hold. If it runs out the side of the waffle iron, you’ve poured too much!)
4. Bake about 5 minutes or until steaming stops/slows down. Remove waffle with a fork. Serve immediately. Repeat with remaining batter.
